Dabur to set up plant in UAE

NEW DELHI: As part of its overseas expansion, homegrown FMCG major Dabur will set up an integrated plant in the UAE with an investment of about Rs. 20 crore. ``In line with our overseas expansion, we plan to set up an integrated plant, which will manufacture cosmetics, food products and other ayurvedic items,'' a company official said. The plant, which is expected to go on stream by the end of next year, would come up in the Ras Al-khaimal area, he added. Dabur already has two plants in the UAE — at Sharjah and Jebel Ali — from where it caters to the West Asia market.
