Sify subsidiary receives NLD and ILD licences

CHENNAI: Sify Communications (SifyComm), a subsidiary of Sify, received licences from the Department of Telecommunication to operate and offer NLD (national long distance) and ILD (international long distance) services. Following this, Sify has, with immediate effect, transferred its VPN business to SifyComm. Both companies had signed an MoU earlier this year to this effect.
