Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Tuesday condemned the bomb attack in a passenger train at Belakoba station in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. It asked the State Government to spare no effort in identifying the culprits and bringing them to book.

``The dastardly attack has been engineered by certain reactionary and divisive elements. The State Government should spare no effort to identify the culprits and bring them to book,'' the Polit Bureau said in a statement.

It appealed to all sections of people to be vigilant to curb the activities of these forces. It also conveyed its heartfelt condolences to those who lost their family members and expressed deep sympathy to those injured.
