DEHRA DUN: Rampaging elephants of the Rajaji National Park killed three women and injured a fourth in separate incidents near Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) in Hardwar and Rishikesh on Monday. The elephants first attacked Gita in the Jwalapur forests and crushed her head. They next attacked Sushila who was gathering fodder and left her injured. She was admitted to hospital where her condition was reported critical. Similarly Khurshida was killed in the Jatonwala forests. Another group of elephants killed Savitri of Jatav Basti near Rishikesh when she was collecting fuel in the forests.
