Metro sets a new record

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Monday achieved its highest ridership so far when it carried 6.22 lakh passengers and in the process earned revenue totalling over Rs.74 lakhs.

The Metro trains running on all the three lines of the network between Shahdara-Rithala, Vishwavidyalaya-Central Secretariat and Indraprastha-Dwarka-Dwarka Sector 9 achieved 100 per cent punctuality with all 1,135 train trips completed on time.
