ARA: Activists of Bihar's ruling JD-U and opposition RJD clashed in Bhojpur district on Tuesday before an Union Minister's programme, leaving nearly 50 people, including policemen, injured. Workers of the two parties hurled stones at each other at Padminia village after a heated argument between them over the omission of the name of local JD-U MLA Asha Devi from the invitation card for the programme printed by the agency engaged for building a road under the Prime Minister's Rural Road Scheme, Deputy Superintendent of Police Z A Rahman said. Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries Kanti Singh was scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the road but had not arrived when the activists clashed. He said nearly 50 people, including policemen, received minor injuries in the incident. - PTI
