Magistrates appointed

CHENNAI:
The Madras High Court has appointed new Chief Metropolian/Judicial Magistrates for Chennai and Salem.
According to an official notification, S. Boothanathan, Chief Judicial Magistrate of Salem, has been posted Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore. He replaces P. Ayyaswami who has been appointed Chief Judicial Magistrate of Chengalpattu. The incumbent CJM of Chengalpattu, M.P. Jagannathan, is the new Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Egmore.
R. Paranjothi, Civil Judge (senior division), functioning on deputation as Sub-Judge of Yanam, is the new Chief Judicial Magistrate of Salem.
