Tibetans protest

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: With Chinese President Hu Jintao on a visit to India, several organisations of Tibetans in exile continued their protests for the second day here on Tuesday.

About two-dozen protesters have been detained since Monday night.

At least two Tibetans broke the cordon near Hyderabad House in the afternoon when high-level talks between India and China were going on. Security personnel pinned them down.

Eight more protesters, who were approaching Hyderabad House, were also detained.
