A memorable Children's Day

It was a memorable Children's Day for members of the Police Boys Club and Girls Clubs when they received their prizes from Letika Saran, Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai.

Ms. Saran distributed prizes to winners of the inter-police boys clubs and girls clubs competitions held recently for over 500 children at a function organised by Aide et Action.

Members of ten tsunami-affected clubs received sports material and gym equipment worth Rs.39, 559 donated by trustees of the Hindu Temple of Central Illinois.

The Commissioner lauded the children for their efforts.
