Camp on plastic surgery to be held

Thiruvananthapuram: Plastic surgeon C. Thomas will lead a plastic surgery camp at SUT hospital from November 27 to December 8. Surgeries for congenital deformities and cosmetic surgeries will be performed during the camp.

SHRC chairman's directive

Thiruvananthapuram: Chairman of the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) R. Dinakar has asked the Government to ensure that guidelines are followed in the appointment of teachers and non-teaching staff in Fort High School. Mr. Dinakar visited the school to inquire into the lack of facilities. In his report to the Government, Mr. Dinakar asked to ensure better toilet facilities for students and to make available drinking water. He also suggested that a kitchen and dining hall be constructed.
