THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Nikhil Mohan, a fifth-semester student of Government Engineering College, Barton Hill, has been adjudged the winner of Brains@War, an annual computer coding talent competition organised by US Technology, a leading IT services company, at Technopark. He was awarded a cash prize of Rs.15,000, trophy and certificate. Over 5,000 students from 40 engineering colleges took part in the three-day competition. The contest eventually zeroed in on 65 participants. Ten finalists were quizzed on key interest areas. The second place went to Sajain Geevar of Government Engineering College, Sreekrishnapuram. He was awarded a cash prize of Rs.10,000. Christin E. George, College of Engineering, Chengannur, was declared the best personality.
