KOCHI: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan has said that the State Government will provide all help to encourage organic farming. He was addressing the valedictory session of a national seminar on organic agriculture, organised by the Reserve Bank of India College of Agricultural Banking and the district cooperative banks of Ernakulam, Palakkad and Idukki here on Tuesday. He said the use of Endosulfan in cashew plantations in Kasaragod had affected many lives. Cancer had been widely reported among plantation workers. Organic farming was the better alternative in this context, he said.
