Nod sought to submit NGEF revival package

BANGALORE: Setting at rest speculations about the future of the New Government Electric Factory (NGEF), the State Government on Wednesday filed two applications before the Karnataka High Court seeking a stay on the liquidation proceedings of NGEF and seeking permission to place before the Centre a revival package.

Advocate-General Uday Holla who represented the Government filed the applications before the company court which was hearing the liquidation proceedings of the government -owned factory located on Old Madras Road in Bangalore.
