NEW DELHI: The Election Commission on Wednesday ordered the immediate shifting of three police officials of Karimnagar, where the parliamentary byelection is scheduled for December 4, reports PTI. In an order to the State Government, the poll panel said the DSP and Circle Inspector of Karimnagar and Sub-Inspector of Thimmapur should be transferred forthwith for "not performing their duties properly", EC sources said. The commission has also asked the Government to submit a panel of names for their replacement, the sources said. In another order, the commission sought an explanation from the Congress-led State Government.
