Express train for Varanasi sought

Kakinada: The Kakinada Consumers' Council has sought introduction of an express train from Kakinada to Varanasi.

At its meeting here on Wednesday, with P.S.R.K. Thimmaji Rao in the chair, it pointed out that there was only one express train, Ganga-Kaveri Express, running from South India to Varanasi, which had not been able to cater to the needs of increasing number of pilgrims visiting the holy city and Allahabad.
