Horse and Wagon beats Hawk

NEW DELHI: Five goals by Dhruvpal Godara helped Horse and Wagon to an eight goals to four and a half victory over Hawk in the Havana Cavalry Gold Cup polo tournament at the Army Equestrian Centre, Delhi Cantonment, in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Uday Kalaan scored the other three goals for the winner. Prathik Nidadavolu scored four goals for the loser that started with a half goal handicap advantage.

In another match, Basheer Ali and Vishal Singh scored four goals apiece as Kingfisher First beat Sahgal Stud/Jindal Steel and Power 9-8. Himat Singh Bedia scored the other goal for the winner.

Samir Suhag (4), Akhil Sirohi (3) and Gaurav Sahgal scored for the loser.

Martin Ravina (4), Navjit Singh Sandhu (3) and Ravi Rathore (3) got amongst the goals to power Cavlary Green to a ten goals to two and a half triumph over Navy/Remount and Veterinary Corps (RVC).
