SANGAREDDY : Medak District Collector announced the launching of two new programmes for rural women in the district called Saralam and Sannihitha from December 1. According to a press release here on Wednesday, free photo identification cards would be given to three lakh women in the district through State Bank of India, which allows banking facilities in the village itself. On the other hand, the fingerprints on each one of these cards makes the card fully secure and with facility to operate their accounts while they are on the move. Women could save as little as Rs. 10 per day and are eligible for a loan of Rs. 1,000.
