Grievances meeting

The district farmers' grievances meeting will be held on November 24 at the District Development Council Hall. The District Collector, Neeraj Mittal, will chair the meeting.

Power shutdown

In view of the maintenance works to be undertaken at the Devarayapuram sub-station on November 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the following areas will go without power supply: Thondamuthur, Puthur, Pooluvampatti, Viraliyur, Jahirnaickenpalayam, Muthipalayam, Thennamanallur, Narasipuram and Kaliannanpudur.

Similarly in view of the maintenance works on the same day at Madampatti sub-station, the following areas will go without power supply: Madampatti, Kuppanur, Karadimadai, Sennanur, Alandurai, Iruttupallam, Semmedu, Poondi, Siruvani, Devarayapuram, Kulathupalayam, Thaliyur, Sundapalayam, Kalickanaickenpalayam, Theethipalayam, Perur, Kavundanur, Kalampalayam and Perurchettipalayam.

Seminar

CAMET, the multimedia centre, is organising a seminar on web-designing opportunities exclusively for women on November 25 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon at the Conference Hall, 4th floor, Damodar Centre. Jayashree V Murthy, Director of M/s Wings International, Coimbatore, will address the participants. Last date for registration is November 24.
