TMMK volunteers stage road roko

CHENNAI: Around 100 members of Tamizhaga Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam blocked traffic near Egmore Court on Wednesday night for 15 minutes. They were protesting against alleged wordy altercation between the TMMK members and some persons, who claimed to be important people, in the ruling DMK party. The altercation began over who would park vehicles in front of the Egmore Court premises. It resulted in exchange of blows in which Kaja Mohideen of TMMK, was injured. He was admitted to Government General Hospital. The police have not registered a case but investigations are on.
