Good batting by Parth
Parth (84 not out) helped Talwar Hyundai beat Spoorthy by eight wickets in the Friendship Cup corporate cricket tournament on Thursday. The scores: CAPCO 127for seven lost to Veva 128 for five (Pramod 52). Spoorthy 127 for seven lost to Talwar Hyundai 131 for two (Parth 84 not out).
St.Andrews in the lead
Host St. Andrews High School, Bowenpally, leads the table in the boys' and the girls' sections at the end of four rounds of the third inter-school chess tournament for the Rev Fr. Devasia trophy on Thursday. In the boys' section the school has 14 points form four rounds while in the girls' section the school has a tally of 16 points.
