Top leaders of four main contesting parties camping in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR : Byelections to the Karimnagar Parliamentary constituency have become more prestigious for all the four contesting political parties, which are leaving no stone unturned to ensure victory by adopting various strategies.

The Congress had deputed Ministers as in-charges for all the seven Assembly segments, while the TDP, TRS and BJP have deployed former Ministers and other State leaders as in-charges for the Assembly segments for the electioneering. Meanwhile, Minister for Sports M Satyanarayana Rao, TRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao, TDP politburo member T. Devender Goud and BJP State president Bandaru Dattatreya were playing key-roles in the electioneering for their respective parties by coordinating with the segment-wise leaders.

Segment-wise listing

In Karimnagar Assembly segment, Minister for Minorities Md. Fariduddin is the in-charge for Congress party campaign, T Srinivas Yadav (TDP), Kishan Reddy (Congress) and Padma Rao (TRS), for Choppadandi segment, Minister Sabitha Indira Reddy is the in-charge for Congress, Kadiam Srihari (TDP), Padma Devender Reddy (TRS) and Baddam Bal Reddy (BJP.

Nerella segment: Minister Redya Naik (Congress), Muthyam Reddy (TDP), Harish Rao (TRS), Sriramulu (BJP); Sircilla segment: Minister for Labour G Vinod (Congress), E Dayakar Rao (TDP), Ravindra Naik (TRS), Nagurao (BJP); Metpally segment: Minister for Major Irrigation Ponnala Laxmaiah (Congress), Pocharam Srinivasa Rao (TDP), Madhu (TRS) and Laxman (BJP), Buggaram segment: Minister for Tourism J Geetha Reddy (Congress), M Damodar Reddy (TDP), Vijayarama Rao (TRS), Satyanarayana (BJP Jagtial segment; Md Shabbir Ali (Congress), Mandava Venkateshwara Rao (TDP), Nayini Narasimha Reddy (TRS), Dharma Rao (BJP). Besides, the

Congress had also deputed a legislator each to all the 29 mandals of the Parliament constituency.On the other hand, TDP had also deputed its legislators and former legislators as in-charges for each mandal.
