Engineers to report for duty; reconciliation talks fail

CUDDALORE: The entire workforce of the Neyveli Lignite Corporation, including 14,500 regular employees and 13,000 contract labourers, have declared that they are going on a day's token strike from 10 p.m. on Thursday to 10 p.m. on Friday.

The Labour Progressive Front too has decided to join the strike.
