Cheating case against woman

The Gopalpuram police on Thursday registered a case against a woman who allegedly cheated people on the pretext of selling low-priced lands at Maheswaram in Ranga Reddy district. M. Saraswathi (40) of Regimental Bazaar reportedly collected Rs. 19 lakhs from her neighbours and colleagues and fled with her family on November 17.

Woman accused of killing husband

A 40-year-old man was reportedly murdered by his wife at Kothur village in Kandukur on Wednesday. The police said S. Bharatamma killed her husband Samaiah by smashing his head with a boulder, as he harassed her everyday in an inebriated condition.
