Bakery raided

HYDERABAD: The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) officials on Thursday raided Universal Bakery at Masab Tank and found stale food like minced chicken, bakery items, sauces and other ingredients being used.

Samples of `maida' and `vanaspathi' oil were also lifted under the provisions of Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954, and sent to the State Food Laboratories in Nacharam.

MCH Commissioner Sanjay Jaju said that surprise inspections would continue and people could call on phone number: 98490 06013 for making any complaints.
