Young author contest

Some 800 students from 100 schools showcased their creative skills at the "Classmate Young Author" contest held at Satya Sai Nigamagamam on Thursday. The competition had students writing stories in the genres of mystery, thriller and fantasy. Top two entries will participate in the national competition that will be judged by renowned writer Ruskin Bond, according to a press release.

Top rating for IPE

Institute of Public Enterprises, located on the campus of Osmania University, was rated as topmost institute in Andhra Pradesh by the Competition Success Review-Human Resource Development Centre Rankings. In a survey about business schools, the institute was ranked 27th in the country and 4th in the south, a press release said.

Andhra Bank expo

Andhra Bank is organising a two-day exhibition with focus on `consumer durables, financial products and retail business' from Saturday at Nizam College grounds, a press release said.

Training in guitar

Andhra Mahila Sabha College of Fine Arts and Media Education has invited applications for training in guitar, keyboard and violin.
