Painting exhibition

KOCHI: Noted artist M. V. Devan inaugurated a painting exhibition organised by Supplyco at Women's Association Hall here on Thursday. Paintings by students, who won prizes in the competition organised by the corporation, are displayed at the venue.

Attack condemned

KOCHI: Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry has condemned the increasing attacks against the merchant community in the State. In a release here on Thursday, the chamber representatives urged the police authorities to take stern action against the guilty. — Staff Reporter

Dance programme

KOCHI: A dance programme involving 1,500 artistes will be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium at Kaloor on November 28. The event is part of the programmes held in connection with the visit of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. — Staff Reporter

KOCHI: An exhibition of books on Malayalam language and culture was inaugurated at the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) on Thursday. Vice-Chancellor P.K. Abdul Azis inaugurated the exhibition at the university library. The exhibition will conclude on November 30. — Staff Reporter
