Passport staff threatens stir

NEW DELHI: The All-India Passport Employees' Association (AIPEA) has threatened to hold a demonstration outside the Regional Passport Office in the Capital from November 27 in protest against what they called the "inappropriate conduct" of a senior officer.

AIPEA has alleged that the Regional Passport Officer had been functioning in an autocratic manner despite the fact that they had been working overtime to meet the target of clearing 20,000 to 25,000 passports per month.
