Roche launches drug for rheumatoid arthritis

CHENNAI: Roche Scientific Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Swiss-based F. Hoffman-La Roche (FHLR), has launched a drug, Mabthera (rituximab), in India for the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis. According to a release, the drug is a selective B cell therapy for rheumatoid arthritis and has already received the approval in the U.S and European Union.
