Rupee ends flat

MUMBAI: The rupee ended flat against the U.S. currency on Friday after a weak start at 44.6950/7050 a dollar due to steady inflows from foreign institutional investors, stable crude prices and fall in inflation. In the last three days, the Indian currency had gained by around 18 paise on heavy dollar sales. At the interbank foreign exchange market, the Indian unit resumed a shade higher at 44.68/70 a dollar and later moved in a range of 44.68-44.96.

It later ended at 44.6950/7050 against 44.6900/7000 a dollar. — PTI
