`Run for fun' programme today

Puducherry: The naval wing of the NCC is conducting a `run for fun' programme on Saturday. An estimated 250 cadets from the Government Tagore Arts College, the Bharathidasan Government College (autonomous) for Women, the Motilal Nehru Government Polytechnic College and the Indira Gandhi Government Arts and Science College, Kadirkamam, will participate.

A release from the Commanding Officer of the NCC (Naval unit) P .K. Sudhakaran said here on Friday that the cadets would commence their run from the NCC Complex at Lawspet (airport road) and run through the Airport Road, East Coast Road, Krishna Nagar Junction, College road, and return to the complex. — Special Correspondent
