NCC Day marked by service to the needy

Cadets make visits to old age homes, underprivileged schools

ANANTAPUR: The NCC girl cadets of Government Degree College (Arts College) here visited an old-age home run by a non-governmental organisation (NGO) on the outskirts of the town and spent some time with the inmates. The girls also distributed fruits to the inmates of the home. They were led by Commanding Officer of 6th Andhra Girls Battalion Lt. Col. J.S. Thakur.

At Kurnool, the NCC organised `run-for-fun' from Medical College Ground to Silver Jubilee College in connection with the 58th NCC Day celebrations.
