Train route changed

Train to run via Delhi from Nov. 29

NEW DELHI: After receiving several representations from people, the Indian Railways has decided to change the route of its recently introduced Garib Rath operating between Amritsar and Saharsa (Bihar).

Starting November 29, the train will run via Delhi instead of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.

The fully air-conditioned bi-weekly train comprising AC III coaches and chair-cars will now run between Amritsar and Saharsa via Ambala, Delhi, Moradabad and Lucknow. At present it operates via Ambala, Saharanpur and Moradabad. Now the train will not go to Saharanpur.
