Dubai : A 12-year-old Indian student, studying in a Jeddah school, momentarily went blind and deaf after a teacher beat him, the boy's father has alleged in his complaint to the police. Fayez, who studies at the International Indian School, was admitted to a polyclinic on November 16 with signs of abuse on his face and ears, his father said. He submitted the medical report to police and registered an official complaint, Arab News reported. Chairman of the school managing committee Shuaib Kazi, told the newspaper on Thursday that action was being taken against the erring teacher. ``We completely sympathise with the child and his parents and we have initiated action against the teacher,'' he said.
