KOCHI: The State Government plans to hold road shows soon in West Asia, Sri Lanka and the Maldives to promote Kerala as a medical tourism destination. The State plans to hold such promotional activities in the U.S. and Europe too, said E.K. Bharat Bhushan, Principal Secretary, Department of Tourism, here on Sunday. He was making a presentation on the State's prospects at a meet on medical tourism in Kerala organised as part of the inauguration of Fathima Healthcare Management Service. Kochi Mayor Mercy Williams launched the Healthcare Management Service. He said Kerala should be able to capture about 20 per cent of the medical tourism business coming to India.
