Strumming to a prize

WINNERS: The team of National Institute of Technology, Calicut, which won the first prize in rock show at a State-level Inter-Collegiate Youth Festival held as part of the silver jubilee celebrations of the Government Medical College, Thrissur. The G overnment Engineering College, Thrissur, led with a tally of 39 points when the results of 12 events were declared on Sunday evening. The Government Medical College, Thrissur, and the Government Medical College, Kozhikode, came second and third, scor ing 26 and 24 points respectively. — Photo: K.K. Najeeb
