Sri Sri Ravishankar to interact with youth

KOCHI: Sri Sri Ravishankar, the founder of the Art of Living movement, will interact with students of various colleges at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium at Kadavanthra from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on December 1. A fusion music programme by Rock Satsang will also be organised on the occasion, according to a press release of the Vyakti Vikas Kendra. — Staff Reporter

Electrical engineers' meet concludes

KOCHI: The 22nd national convention of electrical engineers, organised by the Cochin local centre of the Institution of Engineers (India), has concluded. Minister for Public Works T.U. Kuruvilla was the chief guest at the valedictory function. Chairman of the Local Centre E. Kurien Mathew, chairman of Electrical Engineering Division Board Radhakrishna Moorthy and others spoke.

Government decision welcomed

KOCHI: The Kerala State Small Industries Association (KSSIA) has welcomed the Government decision to allow one time settlement for clearing the arrears of loans taken from the Industries Department. The association, in a statement, urged the Government to discontinue the recovery procedures against defaulters.
