Man found murdered

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: A garment factory worker was found murdered in D.J. Halli Police Station limits on Saturday.

The police gave the name of the dead as Prabhu Gopinath (26), a resident of Bajji Compound near P&T Quarters in Kavalbyrasandra.

His head was smashed with a stone, the police said.

The police said Prabhu and his wife, Durga, were working in a garment factory at Govind Pura. On Saturday, Prabhu asked his wife to return home saying he would do overtime at the factory.

When her husband did not return home on Sunday, Durga approached the police. Meanwhile, passers-by informed the police that a body was lying near Pushpanjali cinema.

The police said that Durga identified the body as her husband's.

The police have registered a case.
