NASA workshop

The Indian Institute of Astrophysics will host the second UN/NASA workshop on the International Heliophysical Year (IHY 2007) and basic space science on its premises from November 27 to December 1. The workshop has been endorsed by the United Nations General Assembly as part of the 2006 activities of the UN programme on space applications.

BU exam

As per a Bangalore University Academic Council resolution, the question paper for Environmental Studies, Computer Fundamentals and Indian Constitution will be set by the university and the valuation of these papers will be carried out by the colleges concerned. The marks scored in these papers will not be considered for awarding ranks or grades, but will be considered only for passing the degree, a university release said.
