Prince replaces Dippenaar

Port Elizabeth: Ashwell Prince has replaced Boeta Dippenaar in the South African squad for the last two ODIs against India.

Selection panel chief Haroon Lorgat said Prince could give the side more options in case it carried out switches in the batting order.

Mr. Lorgat said he had made the call to replace paceman Andre Nel with all-rounder Andrew Hall for the third ODI at Newlands since the former was nursing an injury to his index finger.

He added that Shaun Pollock, Jacques Kallis, Mkhaya Ntini, Mark Boucher, Nel and Hall would be rested for the Twenty20 match against India in Johannesburg on December 1.

Mr. Lorgat said Abraham de Villiers would don the big gloves. — Special Correspondent
