CHENNAI: Tanla Solutions, a provider of integrated solutions and products, is coming out with its follow on public offer of 1.59 crore equity shares of Rs. 2 each at a price band of Rs. 230 to Rs. 265. The issue will be open from December 11 to 14, 2006. The existing equity shares of the company are listed on the Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Madras Stock Exchanges. The equities now offered are proposed to be listed on these exchanges as well as on the BSE and NSE.

The company proposes to create infrastructure for the development centre in Hyderabad and establish facilities for a backup and disaster recovery centre in Bangalore. Besides the company will be investing in expansion and upgradation of existing research and product development facilities and in setting up overseas marketing offices.

The company started its operations in 2000 as a provider of integrated telecom solutions and products for the wireless market and specialised in providing signalling system (SS7) messaging infrastructure software products, including short messaging service centre, high density media servers, optimal routing solutions, welcome roamers, voice mail servers and caller ring back.

Addressing presspersons in connection with the public offer, Akash Rukhaiyar, Chief Financial Officer, said the company witnessed a steep growth in revenue and profits in the 12 months ended March 31, 2006 following the completion of two acquisitions in the fiscal year 2004-05, namely Techserve Teleservices of the U.K. {lcub}now known as Tanla Solutions (UK) Limited{rcub} and Smartnet Communication Systems Private Limited of Kolkata.
