KOLLAM: From the two-day State-level Children's Science Congress, which concluded here on Tuesday, 16 students were selected to present their projects at the national-level Children's Science Congress to be held at the Sikkim-Manipal Institute of Technology in Sikkim during the last week of December. Ten among them are from the senior category and the rest from the junior category. Two among those from the senior category have been selected for attending the Indian Science Congress to be held at the Annamalai University in January. Those selected are Afzal Najeeb from the S.N. Public School, Kollam, Angel Anna Zacharia from Saint Gemma's Girls HSS, Malappuram, Anila A.G. from Vimala Hridaya Girls HSS, Kollam, Arunima R. from GKM HSS, Melvettoor, Lidya Mathew from Saint Mary's HS for Girls, Kuravilangad, Navina K. from Government HSS, Munderi, Shifa K. Rahman from Kanikkamatha Convent English Medium HSS, Palakkad, Sreeraj P.K. from Government HSS, Pilicode, Vimal M.P. from ASV UP School, Chelannur, Akhil K. Government HSS, Kannadiparamba, Binu Chandran, Kottapuram HS, Paravur, Dona Jacob, Nirmala HS, Kabanigiri, Gopika Krishna K., Government UP School, Anicad, Jith J.R., Government HSS Venjarumoodu, Manjima M.G., LMS UP School, Kottukonam and Sulfikar from CMS CHSS, Kottayam. Those selected for the Indian Science Congress are Afzal Najeeb and Arunima R. For the best interaction at the Science Congress, Shibin Jose from Kattapana Education District, Sudeesh Kumar from Neyyattinkara Education District, Shinto Babu from Aluva Education District and Swathy S. from Tirur Education District won prizes. In the poster presentation competition, Rohit Nandakumar from Aluva Education District, Sujaya T.M. from Kannur Education District and Jithu I. from Kollam Education district won the prizes.
