Woman deposes before magistrate

TAMBARAM : A 51-year-old woman, who levelled charges of sexual harassment against a former Kerala Minister, deposed before judicial magistrate in Tambaram. Lakshmi Gopakumar came to the court in East Tambaram at 3 p.m, accompanied by her advocates Sudha Ramalingam and Arivunidhi and Shaji Madhavan, Captain, Flight Operations of Kingfisher Airlines.

She recorded her statement before magistrate V.P. Ravindran ``in-camera' under Section 164 of the Cr. P.C., before leaving the court a little past 5 p. m.

Ms. Gopakumar had filed a complaint with the Chennai airport police that the then Kerala Public Works Department Minister, P. J. Joseph, misbehaved with her on a flight from Chennai to Kochi on July 3.
