HYDERABAD: The youngster, wanted in connection with the gruesome killing of a teenaged girl, whose partially burnt body was found in a school compound in Adaiahnagar near Secunderabad Railway Station in April 2005, was arrested and brought to the city by police on Tuesday. David alias Samuel Johnson, was earlier taken into custody by the Srikakulam police on the charge of possessing illegal firearms. During police interrogation, he confessed to his involvement in the sensational Secunderabad murder. Police said David and his live-in companion Suhasini had allegedly throttled to death a 14-year-old girl K. Rama Devi. They planned to burn the body in the compound of a school along the railway track. However, local people who noticed the burning body chased and managed to nab Suhasini, while David managed to flee.
Sedatives
David alias Samuel Johnson, who hails from Bibinagar allegedly befriended Rama Devi at the Secunderabad railway station after she ran away from her house in Kadapa. He seduced and took her to Khammam. Police said he used to administer sedatives and sexually assault her. However, differences cropped between David and his live-in companion Suhasini over the girl. The duo allegedly decided to do away with the girl after learning that she was pregnant. Moreover, Suhasini suspected that David would abandon her, if the girl conceived. She then decided to kill the girl with the help of David. Accordingly, David strangled her to death after administering sedatives. They later stuffed the body in a gunny bag, boarded the Narsapur Express and reached Secunderabad station on April 4, 2005, police said. But local people caught Suhasini when she was setting fire to the body while David managed to run away.
