NEW DELHI: With a number of allottees or occupants of the Delhi Development Authority flats having commenced additions and alterations in their flats against the laid policies and programmes, the Authority has warned such people of penal action stating that any indulgence in additions and alterations in contravention of the laid down procedures or policy would be viewed strictly. In a statement issued on Tuesday, DDA said all additions and alterations in DDA flats by allottees should be taken up only in accordance with the laid down policies and procedures given in the booklet titled "Policy & Procedure for Permission and Regularisation of Additions and Alterations in DDA Flats". It said this printed brochure containing policy and procedures on the subject is available at DDA Sales Counter at D-Block, Reception, Vikas Sadan, New Delhi, and is also available at DDA website. Any deviation from the laid down policy and procedure will attract penal action against the allottees or occupants of DDA flats, the Authority warned.
