Pakistan on Wednesday test-fired a medium-range ballistic missile called Hatf 4, also known as Shaheen - I.
The missile is said to have a range of 700 km.
A statement from the military said the launch was successful and marked the culmination of the ongoing exercises of the Pakistan Army's Strategic Force Command (ASFC). Earlier this month, the ASFC test-fired the Hatf 5 or Ghauri, an intermediate range ballistic missile with a 1,300-km range
The latest missile launch comes two days after India conducted a successful missile interception test over the Bay of Bengal.
