PUDUCHERRY: The Oulgaret municipality, on Wednesday, passed 97 resolutions unanimously, including one to charge people for dumping garbage and debris on the road from next month. The councillors also passed a resolution paving the way for people to remit property tax in banks. The council sanctioned Rs. 9.54 crore to take up development works in various wards. The council decided to seek Rs. 42.77 crore for 2007-08 from the government. It decided to send a proposal to the government seeking Rs 132.31 crore during XI Five Year Plan.
