Puducherry: The Rangasamy-led five-member Congress Cabinet is slated to meet on Thursday. A Ministerial source said on Wednesday that the meeting will discuss amendments to the Municipalities and Commune Panchayat Legislations Act to confer financial and administrative powers to the civic bodies. The Cabinet meeting is likely to discuss the issue of enforcing Valued Added Tax in Puducherry also.
