Track suits to be distributed to sportspersons on December 25

Puducherry: Local Administration and Tourism Minister Malladi Krishna Rao said that the Tourism Department would distribute track suits to 2,300 sportspersons on December 25. Addressing a meeting of the Puducherry Shopping Festival Association here on Wednesday, Mr. Rao said that the participation of private entrepreneurs to promote tourism would be welcome and as part of this endeavour, the Government was associating the Puducherry Shopping Festival Association to hold a shopping festival from December 4. Secretary of Tourism A. Anbarasu, Director of Tourism Gautam Reddy and representatives of various organisations and corporates spoke. President of the Association M. Sivashankar and secretary D. Selvaraji participated.
