Final round of National road racing on Dec. 3

CHENNAI: The sixth and final round of the UCAL Rolon National road racing championship for two-wheelers will be held at MMST Track in Sriperumbudur near here on December 3. With the top slots in the Experts category already being captured, the focus will be on the second and third place finishes in most of the classes.

Team TVS Racing, which has been dominating throughout this season, is all set for a glorious finish in the championship. In the Group D 4 stroke 80cc-110cc Ashwin Sundar (197 points) has built an unbeatable lead of 59 points over his nearest rival P. Karthick (138) in the overall championship tally. Harry Sylvester (125 points) is in third position.

Ashwin has also sealed the championship in the Group D 4 stroke 111 to 160cc class with 179 points. In the Group B 4 stroke 111-160cc, the top two slots have been sealed by K. Rajini and Preetam Dev Moses. In the Group C 2 stroke 111-150cc, Rajini has built an unbeatable lead with 160 points. — Sports Reporter
