Hema and Mihira dazzle

HYDERABAD: Hema Malini's century (101, 6 x 4) and Mihira Kamath's haul of six for six enabled Karnataka thrash Goa by 269 runs in the south zone inter-state women's cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

The scores:

At ECIL: Hyderabad 213 for seven (Vanitha Viola 46) bt Tamil Nadu 143 for nine.

At AOC: Andhra 77 (Shobana four for 26) lost to Kerala 78 for three.

At RRC: Karnataka 301 for four (Hema Malini 101, Sindhu Ashok 59) bt Goa 32 (Mihira Kamath six for six). — Special Correspondent
